Explore San Francisco’s diverse downtown districts. We’ll visit Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Chinatown, the Financial District, and Union Square.
Everything starts at Fisherman’s Wharf, where you can see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from the bay. Make time to see Ghirardelli Square and the sea lions at Pier 39 as well as other attractions. San Francisco’s early days will be brought to life as your guide takes you on a stroll along the iconic Barbary Coast Trail.
North Beach, San Francisco’s Little Italy, will be our destination after passing down Lombard Thoroughfare, the city’s “crookedest street.” Learn about the families that came here from other countries and established huge banking and seafood empires. You’ll get to see the literary haunts of such luminaries as Jack Kerouac and Francis Ford Coppola.
Chinatown is just around the corner. The town is filled with temples, dragon gates, and colorful facades. Make your own fortune cookie at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company!
Eat in the Ferry Building Marketplace for lunch and sample some of the city’s best cuisine. Before heading to Union Square, where we’ll see where Tony Bennett actually left his heart, your guide will give you a short rundown of the city’s public transportation options.
Learn why and so much more on this insider’s tour of San Francisco’s most popular attractions.

Reviews
This was great! We walked throughout San Francisco with a local and felt great and not like a regular tour with a big company. A lot of interesting information on SF history, recommendations and funny jokes.
